Mr Tony Attard
Tony is a qualified Child and Family Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and has a wide experience of working with adults, children and families. Tony has an in-depth understanding of mental health issues and has worked with numerous individuals. He specialises in the field of childhood sexual abuse and trauma. For over 10 years he has worked with children, adolescents and families who have experienced long-term trauma abuse and neglect. He also provides consultation to teachers, social workers, parents, police and other professionals on childhood sexual abuse and trauma.
Tony has also provided training and presented at conferences on working with children who sexually abuse as well as working with anxiety. He has treated adults with major anxiety and depressive disorders such as low-self esteem, perfectionism and generalised anxiety disorder in various settings, providing both short-term and long-term therapy. Tony’s style of working is client-centred. He is skilled at helping individuals to find their unique strengths and talents. He helps them to understand their own levels of resilience and how to empower themselves to reach their full potential.

Mr Attard primarily covers Basingstoke area for face to face consultations. He has availability throughout the week and on Saturday mornings for private work. Mr Attard accepts video link (Skype) and telephone consultations and this service is available countrywide.
