Dr S Hashmi

Dr Hashmi has substantial and extensive experience of practising psychiatry extended over 20 years.  He has worked in senior positions in almost all sub-specialities of psychiatry including Learning Disabilities and Child Adolescent Mental Health Services.  However, he holds his Specialist Registration in General Adult Psychiatry.  He is highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of all forms of mental illnesses and disorders, personality evaluations, pre-marital compatibility evaluations and duly qualified to deliver high quality patient care within the bio-psycho-social model.

Dr Hashmi is an Accredited Mediator in all forms of mediation with special Advanced Training in Work Place and Employment Mediation.

Dr Hashmi is a Medical Member First Tier Tribunal Service for the Social Entitlement Chamber, Ministry of Justice.

Dr Hashmi is a Special Visitor to the Court of Protection Office of the Public Guardian, Ministry of Justice undertaking capacity assessment.

Dr Hashmi primarily covers the Berkshire, Bristol, Hampshire, Surrey and Wiltshire area.  He is available on most weekends and weekdays to undertake private work.  Dr Hashmi accepts home visit requests as well as video link (Skype) and telephone consultations.  However his primary consultation office is based at Regus in Basingstoke.
